Back To Homepage Katie Thomas VP of Marketing Katie joined Kings III in June 2012 as its Marketing Manager. She was promoted to Director of Marketing in 2015 and then to Vice President of Marketing in 2016. Prior to joining Kings III, Katie served as Senior Marketing Specialist at TrueSky Credit Union, formerly FAA Credit Union, in Oklahoma City, OK, serving more than 50,000 members. There her role centered on all things marketing in a department that outsourced next to nothing, providing her an opportunity to develop skills in website design and management, graphic design, direct mail, email and event marketing. She launched and oversaw the C.U. Saver’s Club, company blog and social media accounts. Additionally, Katie directed the credit union’s philanthropic efforts for Credit Unions for Kids, organizing efforts resulting in donations to the Children’s Hospital exceeding $40,000 annually. A sooner at heart, Katie received her MBA at the University of Oklahoma while soaking up everything she could and cultivating her marketing career at the credit union. During Katie’s time at Kings III, the marketing department has effectively grown from a team of one to a team of eight. This includes those in more traditional marketing roles of email, event and content marketing as well as a team of Business Development Coordinators who further qualify sales ready leads for sales appointment setting. Katie oversees demand and lead generation, content marketing and nurturing in all forms those stages of the buyer journey may come in, whether on or offline. Her team manages all marketing efforts from inception to the hand-off to sales.
