AED-3000
(AED Cabinet WITH iNTEGRAL eMERGENCY pHONE)Provides readily available phone for the AED and automatically calls for help when door is opened, saving valuable time in cardiac events. AED cabinet with landline emergency phone. Cellular model is ideal where landline service is unavailable. 22" w x 17½" h x 7" d
By simply opening the AED cabinet door or pressing the call button, the emergency phone connects to our emergency call center, or 911, or other emergency assistance center. In this way, two-way communication is established between the AED user and emergency assistance. To prevent theft, a brief alarm sounds when the door is opened. Monitoring of the cabinet door makes theft less likely than for models with no alarm or unmonitored alarm.
Our solution makes possible a direct, two-way telephone connection between a first responder and the emergency call center or dispatching personnel. Our AED cabinet incorporates our class leading landline or cellular emergency telephones directly within the cabinet. For a while now, some AED cabinets have had interface capability with burglar or fire alarm systems to transmit a signal whenever the AED cabinet was opened. While this is helpful, it is not the fastest way to get help to cardiac victims and is prone to false alarms. Additionally, the Federal Occupational Health Administration recommends that a telephone be near each AED so that professional emergency personnel can be summoned. Pushing the button or opening the door connects the AED user to our operators who can also connect to Fire/Rescue personnel. Either party can give CPR, resuscitation, or other medical instruction directly to the AED user. This is critical because in sudden cardiac arrest cases, emergency defibrillation of the victim is best started within two minutes. Doing so increases survival rate by 90 percent. For every minute defibrillation is delayed, survival rate falls by 7 to 10 percent. That's why connecting first responders to medical instruction quickly is imperative.
Our AED cabinet is affordably priced and and is available with installation, maintenance and monitoring services. By combining our 24-hour monitoring services with our installation service, we can utilize our line seizure technology to eliminate the need for, and expense of, dedicated AED/Emergency phone lines. With the average telephone line charge of $49 per month nationally, this savings can enable you to quickly recover your investment.
